9月3日 A night with the boysso sarah...
how about that human nature concert eh!!!!
We should post about it.. but it would be funnier to do it together :)
Love you loads..
here's a pic to wet your appetites 5月12日 MoooThis is a random post... did you know I can't see the harbour bridge??? Now you might say well neither can I...but I happen to have a very ncie view of it out of my office window, but currently the rain is horribly bad, that I can barely see it...not to mention the other side of the harbour... So since I can't see it...I propose a theory that it doesn't exist... Why you may ask...well I don't know...because I'm being random...it also sets up a ncie discussion topic of believing in things you can't see. Lets start off simple...wind...I can't see it, but I can see the effects of it and I can see what happens to certain objects after a rather windy day. For something that can't be seen it's pretty powerful... so how does someone create something they can't see??? Well I don't think people can accurately do that... to be a little more specific...God...can't see him, but I can see the effects of him at work and I can see when he has been working in the world around me (like all the time since he never stops doing stuff in our lives). I don't really know where to go with all this... So I think I'll just go back to my hot chocolate...although before I go...I keep having issues with the word chocolate in that when I type it...I keep forgetting the send 'o' in it and it comes out as choclate...for some reason I have been typing the word chocolate often enough to notice it as a recurring thing. Mmmm,, I could go some chocolate right now..... 4月11日 Easter...Now for those of you who are confused as to what a bunny has to do with the real meaning of Easter, I'm with you. Not to mention a bilby. Yet these are just a few of the shapes in which you can find chocolate this time of year.
Ok so after a 5 day break I am back to continue with my little ramblings which will keep this space alive!!!
Easter is great and this year I'm going to be so easterish it'll drive people crazy...well actually not, but it might!!! See first of all there is the Good Friday service at church (changed to a 9:30 service from 8am) and then there will egg exchanges...I have made up little easter egg packs for people although I did buy some big ones for 6 people.
Then there is the rest of Friday...I might be helping with puppet filming or I could be spending it with Steve. Then on Saturday I'm going to the easter show where steve and I have plans to see woodchopping and the big main arena events, as well as get free food samples in the Woolworths pavillion, get show bags and go on rides...It should be great and I'd prefer if it wasn't raining or too cold :D
Sunday is Easter Day service (:P to you Steve) and I have no idea what my family has planned, but I'm sure I'll see Steve a it then too...maybe even have an easter lunch with friends (I know Jono is up that weekend). Monday will be partially kids club stuff (I'll probably be doing mostly preparing crafts so the kids have ideas to work off) then some stuff in the mid to late afternoon and probably bible study ( I'm not sure if it'll be on but I don't mind either way). Tuesday will be running through each session for kids club and then Wed-Fri from 8:30-2 (give or take) I'll be helping to run Kids Club. Hopefully I'll get to see Steve a fair amount as he's not joining in, but it means he'll be doing uni work and other things which is nice. On the Saturday is touch footy day then I'm off to the ANZAC Tattoo with the Bell's and Sunday is Easter Sunday so it will be all relaxing. Monday back at work then Tuesday off for ANZAC day.
Well it's now the 11th...so I'll just wrap this up already.
Happy Easter Y'all!!! 4月3日 Due to popular demand and pleading...Ok so it would have taken a long discussion between Jen and I to decide whether we killed our baby or not, but given the recent comments and flourishing of posts on here, the more compelling, Jen and Sarah's Randomness space will live to show another blog entry.
Hmm, what's new??? Well Jen, Steve and I went down to Fitzroy Falls on Saturday. We left just after 10 and arrived around 12 at Jono's house where we had a yummy lunch of fresh bread rolls, pasta salad, zuchini slice (so tasty I could have eaten the whole thing) and orange juice. It was much colder than I had expected it to be, but I borrowed one of Jean's jumpers and was able to help keep Jen and Steve warm too. The play went for just over 2 hours I guess and I'd never seen the stage production, but I have seen it on TV. As I watched more of it, I remembered the version from TV. The singing was pretty good and some of the songs I've sung before in Choir when I was in primary school which was exciting.
After the performance, Jono took us back stage and we had a tour lead by Vince and it was fun. We then decided to hang around a bit longer so we headed to the RSL to get coffee/hot chocolate/cake with the rest of the cast and crew. We chatted for about an hour I guess before we decided to leave since we had a 2 hour trip ahead of us.
On the way home we listened to Beauty and the Beast soundtrack and then some Michael Buble and the trip seemed to take less time which was great. I fell asleep for a little bit (and Steve was singing along to Michael Buble into my ear which was really cute) but 'woke up' just as we got off the M2.
Sunday I had hockey in the evening and after umpiring I was a bit tired and I hadn't stretched up before hand so I was a bit sore during my game and in the second half, every time I ran my calves would cramp a bit which sucked. I also almost hit a lady in the head. The ball went straight past her right eye and she said she felt the wind as it rushed past. It surely would have broken something if it made contact, so I'm really glad it didn't.
Overall I'm feeling pretty good considering I've not played since September.
Tonight Liz's Syncronised skating team has a demonstration on, so I'm going to it before bible study. I'm also taking some video footage. I know they can do this programme well so I really hope they don't get performance anxiety...I've got butterflies just thinking about it.
Well here is where I leave. Although I don't have much work to do, I still need to do it.
I hope you are all enjoying the new sunlight...I know I am.
3月29日 I thought about this todayHi all, I thought about this space just a moment ago as I was browsing my new hobby - the human nature forum. You see, I have this obsession... with Human Nature... They are a good band - have amazing voices when it comes to acapella singing and well, who doesn't love their hilarious (but somewhat cute) motown dance moves. One just can't resist. So they have now taken the nunber one spot above Michael Bublé as my favourite band/singer. And for those of you who know me well will know of my recent obsession with a show called "Dancing with the Stars". This is a good show - similar to Human Nature in status as it has Toby and Grant on it. I just entered the DTWS competition in the hope to get to the final.. and the question was "who is your favourite celebrity dancer" (in 10 words or less). So I said "Grant storms onto the dance floor with lightening moves"... clever eh, given he's the weather man!! (ok sad I know), but I just felt the need to have some fun thinking about my latest hobby and obsession :-) Jen 3月27日 To Die or Not To DieI so thought I had added something in here more recently than this, but the complaints would suggest otherwise...I do believe this space might be on it's death bed. I know it's sad, but it's all got to do with the circle of life. We eat the antelope, but when we die, we go into the grass and the antelope eat the grass.... I mean...sometimes things just don't work out and there is nothing you can do about it!
However since this is a joint space by the person formerly known as Jen - she is now Gen as I ate her when she came to have lunch with me, and we will decided together.
It would be a sad time if this space was to pass onto another world, but we could be happy knowing it was going to a better place, spaces heaven. A place that looks a bit like the matrix code.
Anyway, enough rambling, my head hurts enough as it is. I really don't actually want to go home, but I am actually getting sicker...usually when you are sick you wake up feeling terrible (which is why most people who take a day off with a cold etc, will feel better as the day goes on, but dodgy the next morning), then you start feeling better as you wake up and feed your body the nutrients it needs to help fight off the virus etc that you have caught...then as you get tired towards the end of the day you start feeling dodgy again. Well for me, this morning I woke up feeling ok, fairly ordinary and a bit worse than the day before, but it wasn't until I got on the stupid air conditioned train that me (without any tissues) started to get the sniffles. As it gor worse I got desperate and I decided to use a wet wipe. Not my first choice, but it was still ahead of using my sleeve (EWWWW). This would have been at Roseville. By North Sydney I had the sniffles again. So after some peppermint tea, a glass of water 3 tissues and a few phone calls, my head hurts, my throat is scratchy and my nose feels huge. I'm going to get some cold and flu tablets and then see how I go.
Well I've been offered the chance to get some magic medicine now rather than waiting. So I bid you all adue and well, I'll let you know if I die...oh and if this space will be terminated. I know it sounds cold, but it's the truth and you can't fight the truth. I hope you are all well. 2月7日 UpdateWell i'm just here to update one of the lists and I thought I'd add a bit of an entry along with it...this poor neglected space....
I know if I was this space and I was being ignored so badly I would have moved out or thrown a tantrum by now... but luckily there are all those people out there who read and are disappointed to find the same old posts just dying to be updated...
Well anyway...how is stuff???
I managed to tear a muscle at hockey trials and well I had to buy a cushion and have time off work and all this other stuff which was nice but sucky too...
Oh and I'm hopefully going to the cricket on Sunday with Steve as there are still lots of seats even though Australia is playing and it's a final... ummm
This morning I bit my cheek while eating my toast and today I have bitten it 3 more times and just now I bit my tongue which really hurts!!!
Oh it's also very cold today...it's windy and cold outside as north Sydney is this huge silly wind tunnel. I don't mind the summer wind (The summer wind, came blowin’ in - from across the sea. It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me. All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand. Two sweethearts, and the summer wind.) as it is warm, but cold wind is yuck!!! It just finds it's way into your clothes and makes you cold!!!
Bec, Jen and Steve visited me for lunch today and i only knew that Steve was coming so it was a really nice surprise!!!
Oh and I'm sorry all but I ate Jen...she has been replaced by a vengeful Gen so beware and don't get on her bad side!!!
Boute 1月27日 I thought I'd post for onceSarah does a lot of posting on this site (well in the past she has) and since I nicely stumbled upon it, I thought i'd post (bad grammar I know).
So, not heaps has been happening, i'm tired, sarah and i sometimes update our individual blogs... maybe we'll start writing here soon... but thought I would put a post and see how many people still check here... so visit Jen's blog or Sarah's blog JEN 12月9日 All Alone...I was going to rant about feeling lonely and how everyone else is busy, but realistically so am I. I've done something every afternoon since I got home from holidays...I just finished reading a book (The Da Vinci Code - good story and quite interesting froma Christian point of view), I'm quite busy all weekend and yet I feel lonely. I saw Bec last night, but because it was lateish, I didn't stay at her house very long and well we couldn't really enjoy each others company that much while at K4C.
I think it's just that it's been a week and a half since I saw any of my friends and two are still away and I have up to a week before everyone is back...goodness knows how I will cope when one of us decides to go and work or live further than 10mins drive away.
The moral to the story obviously is that you shouldn't have friends and if you do...get yourself sugically attached so you don't miss them.... No wait...there is really no moral..I just felt like a bit of a whinge.
So...what are you doing in the holidays??? Who me??? Oh I'm going to Summer Camp and it's going to be great!!! I'm singing in the band...how about you??? Oh I'm going there too...it's going to rock!!! Are you an Alien in this world???
One word....RANDOM!!!!
Ok I think I've stretched this on long enough... return to sanity...here...I...come!!!!
BTW...MOO!!! 11月17日 Well what????MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO MOO
Well you asked for it...here is a totally pointless blog entry :D You can make up your own tune to the mooing...I think that pretty much explains what is going on in my head about now...not much but mooing. It's quite an interesting past time... I think I might just start mooing at people and mooing inresponse to things...moo is just so easy to say....
So MOO to you!!! :P
11月6日 suckyHey,
Well - what a weekend. The only sad part is now. And, this is the part where I try to not cry. I'll start with Saturday. Sarah, Steve, Jono and I went putt putting. It was so much fun. We did the Jungle Course (which is supposedly the easiest... I still found it a bit hard, but I lost). Steve won - yay, Sarah came second, Jono, third. I think some of the funny parts were "do a Jen!". On the first hole I was doing really badly so I stopped the golf ball with my foot to stop it going backwards haha! So from then on - when we were getting towards 5 hits, it was "do a Jen" - or in other words, cheat. We then went to Maccas, had lunch and headed back to Steve's where Jono and I dropped of Sarah and Steve (they were going shopping with Angela^). Jono and I then headed back to my place where we watched the Jonah Veggie Tales movie. That was great fun - partly because of the movie, mostly because of the company. About 4:00pm Bec came over, and we chatted for a bit, watched part of Jonah again had a tickle fight - everyone against me, but that was fun! Mike* arrived around 5pm and Jono went to help andrew load up the ute to take thing to his (Andrew's) uni dinner. Bec and I got changed and got ready for the UTS Christian Students Formal dinner. Soon after that Lachie, Steve and Sarah arrived and we finished getting ready. Jono came back, we had dinner, took some photos and the 7 of us went to the formal :-) (Sarah, Steve, Bec, Mike, Jen, Jono, Lachie). When we got there we discovered they were serving dinner - which was pretty funny since we'd already eaten. The night was pretty good - everyone looked amazing, and had cool hats (the theme was wacky hats). The only dodgy thing was the dance music. We headed home about 11:30pm ish. I took the wrong lane at one point so we went home via the anzac bridge rather than the harbour bridge - woops! But we still got home safely. It was a pretty late night - but I say it was worth every minute (but maybe i'm biased). Then Sunday... Today we had church in the morning. It was good, lots of young people (and jono :-)). Ian McKendrick did the bible talk, and Sarah and I sang a few songs up the front which was good fun. After chruch Sarah and Steve and Liz (sair's sister) and her mum went to Parklea Markets (and got some goooood bargins!). I went and had lunch at the black stump with mum, dad, andrew, bess and jono. After that, I went back to Andrew's house and Andrew (through shut eyelids), Bess, Jono and I watched the princess bride. After this we had youth group and that sort of brings me to now where I've said good bye. Although I feel much better after writing on here about the fun this weekend. Unfortunately for both Sarah and I, we're back to work/uni tomorrow and have assignments/exams this week. *sigh*. Pray for us? Thanks, In Christ Jen ^ Steve's mum * Bec's boyfriend 11月2日 No neglect.I thought I wouldnt' neglect this as I was eating my lunch today.
Yes special guest :-) I thought we could name him.. so to fill those of you in who don't already know, I (jen) am going out with Jono.... who is the special guest :-)
YaY
so there youg .. that is my news.... and no neglect. 10月31日 WoopsSo um, Jen and I didn't really get to blog together over the weekend but we both blogged seperately... see we were both quite busy.
If you would liek to see what we each did over the weekend visit:
Jen's blog - http://jenfafa.blogspot.com/
Sarah's blog - http://spaces.msn.com/members/monkeybutler/
We did spend some time together...we went shopping, but it was mainy for stuff I needed so it was fun but could have been better if we'd both been looking and it hadn't been so hot and if my foot hadn't been hurting...
I think maybe Jen and I should do some special guest blogs...but we'll have to see how things go...as she will have a special guest with her over the weekend...teehehehehhe...it's only funny because her parents are being so mean!!!
Don't worry jen, I'll protect you a little bit...but I think you partially deserve it. :D 10月22日 Together again at last. She's very funny that girl. We are going to go nuts now. Time to blog at last.
Chocolate - we had a conversation about chooclate on the way home from Zone 3 today (more about this later).
But chocolate in french is chocolat. And we had a wholllle conversation about this. It was in french. It made us (well Sarah, but we're the same person) hungry.
Now what to entice you all with on our lovely, beautiful, positive, entrancing, massaging (ohhh so nice) space. Smelly... well Sarah/me feels smelly.
We went to Zone 3 today with the PY (presbyterian youth) session team. It was good fun, lazer shooting and things. Mad mad mad! In the second game the blue team (which was us) kicked but! Which was fun for us. We think we may have kicked but in the first game as well. Maybe... we're not sure now.
Give me somethign to say. Said the jen. That reminds me of the musical episode of buffy said Sarah. I want a doughnut dispenser said Sarah. Type type type type type went the many laptops in the room. And squeak went the chair. No one really said anything which made the Jen sad. Except of course the jen, who was reading out what she was typing.
Moo said the cow. Bess lay down on the couch. Oink went the pig on sarah's arm band. The boy on jen's wrist wolf whistled. Oh wait, that was sarah. (That reminds me of a veggie tales episode... where they go "oh wait... that's a water buffalo).
Time to change topics, Jen said. Jen corrected her own punctuation out loud. So yes, jen's arm band didn't wolf whistle which made her the sad. Cries, said/did jen. And there was no one to pat her head. Except Sarah who just did.
So about that local sporting team. I think they are having a summer break. Plastic sheets eh? Does this make any sense?? I don't think so but that's ok.
I think it may be just about time to publish this post. Been so long since we have done this together... It makes for much randomness - SOOOO Good!! :D:D
Yawn said sarah.. jen was just thinking aobut sleeping - kinda funny.
:O I'm offended!!!!
You sound like a bird. Said Jen to Sarah.
hahah.. oh so cruel of us.... but sooooooo necessary.... (well at least for Jen annyway). Sad though. Nobody likes me, everybody hates me, i think i'll go eat worms. Long thin skinny ones, short fat slimy ones, see them wriggle and squirm. Bite their heads off, suck their guts out, throw the skins away. No body knows how well I live on worms three times a day.
The end. 10月20日 Oh so loved...Now there had been perfectly good intentions to blog here almost two weeks ago... Jen and I had been planning to sit down and collaborate on a joint blog but with her on prac, me with uni assignments and the other blogs (two for me and one for Jen) and the forum to keep us both amused... this little blog got neglected once again. It's sad that it is just so easily brushed aside without further thought... So lucky that all those people commented...even that random person who commented last (or 7th)... I don't know who that could have been... hmm let analyse...
It couldn't have been Jen, as she is on prac without internet access... Bec and Steve have uni today and Manda and Moni have school and given it's 8:45 now and the comment was made only 10 mins ago (or there abouts)... it must have been me... hang on a second... that doesn't make sense...why would I comment on my own blog and then blog about it??? Hmm, must have been my evil twin... or I'm just silly and I did it to get attention...
So um... uni is almost over...YAY!!! That is really exciting as it means so much more free time to read and relax... no more assignment stress!!! But not yet... not until the 8th for me...I'm not sure when Jen finishes, but I'm sure you will all hear about it!!! PARTAY!!!!!!
So how about this weather.... not really my idea of Spring weather... I'm a bit unhappy about it actually... I'd really like to start swimming as I love swimming... but since it's cold and currently raining, I guess that wont happen!!!
I don't mind storms or heavy rain... but this miserable drissle is just not my thing!!! I also love storms and tried inserting a pic but the work computer was being dodgy. Must actually work now...sad but true...
Plus now I've blogged, I wont get into trouble!!! Yay!!!!
Bouye!!! 10月4日 Frisbee!!! and the beach!!!Hey,
* Kids 4 Christ ^ When George introduced himself, he accidentally repeated Jen's name and said his name was Jen ~A magical flying ring of entertainment +Not quite a frisbee because my thong flys better than it did 9月28日 I know that not heaps of people read this so I can have a big rant.
AGHDHSIOFhdoiheiosdhviofxhcvixdx - I'm so STUPID! LoL. You know when you really want to do something and you're too chicken... *sigh* that's me all over..
So there you go there's my rant.
I am done.
J 9月25日 The WeekendSo um yeah wow...what a weekend.... As Jen mentioned it was rather hectic and that was just on the surface. Apart from her mum going into hospital on Friday and my sister going into hospital on Saturday..there were lots of excessively late nights along with long days, filled with various activities from watching football to trying to integrate three new characters into a murder mystery...Now this might seem simple enough, but it means redoing most of the script so that rumours and plot lines could become sufficiently intertwined for it to work. I had great fun and didn't for a moment suspect that Silky (my boss and played by Amanda) would have been the killer. So sweet and innocent, but at the same time I saw how it could work and it did...very well.
I know some people who will be very happy they are on uni break at the moment as it means they can catch up on all their lost sleep. Onto other good and exciting news.... Jen's bro, Andrew (also known as Eddie R. Gile) did the sermon at church on Sunday and although he was very loud (not a bad thing, he was just loud) I found that I didn't look at the time once and was always able to follow what he was talking about. I'm sure it helped that we had looked at Ephesians 1 in youth group fairly recently, but he spoke clearly and passionately so it would be hard not to be captivated. So that was very cool...then at the murder mystery, Lachie was being typically brattish, so I found jen's water gun and shot him with it...this caused Andrew to want to join in so he acquired himself a jug of water and preceeded to throw it at Lachie and I as we were wretling so he could wet me back. Luckily I love water fights and found it most amusing....plus giving people hugs and making them wet too was fun.
I also want ideas for long weekend activities.... see there are movie marathons on, but none of them really appeal to me as I've either seen at least one of the movies enough times to make me value my sleep more, or I don't like one or more of the movies within the marathon. So I had been thinking that a picinic could be nice, somewhere with lots of space sounds good... Bobbin head is nice, or a beach up central cost (if it's warm enough)..but yes, ideas would be good. Jen and Sarah's adventuresI thought we hadn't posted here in a while, so I would do the honours.
Tonight we had a murder mystery at my house (with youth group), it was fun. Amanda was the murderer which was funny.
I went ice skating with sarah, monica, amanda, steve, lachie, matt, andrew, bess and bec last night. That was also fun, sarah can still skate really well, she taught me a spin.
In other news, we had a few scares this weekend, car accidents, unconcious parents and things.. has been nuts.
I am really tired now, maybe Sarah can fill in a bit more..
j 9月19日 ANNOUNCEMENTAhoy! You might have not noticed but Jen and I have a list on our space. Just lettin' you all know that it has moved t' under t' photo album. Feel free t' take a gander at it and for some people out thar....maybe you should be takin' down some notes ;D
Also you should know that it be International Talk Like A Pirate Day today. If you missed it this year, make aye t' mark it down for next year. A proper update will happen later. Now get aft t' work!" |
