9月3日 A night with the boysso sarah...
how about that human nature concert eh!!!!
We should post about it.. but it would be funnier to do it together :)
Love you loads..
here's a pic to wet your appetites 5月12日 MoooThis is a random post... did you know I can't see the harbour bridge??? Now you might say well neither can I...but I happen to have a very ncie view of it out of my office window, but currently the rain is horribly bad, that I can barely see it...not to mention the other side of the harbour... So since I can't see it...I propose a theory that it doesn't exist... Why you may ask...well I don't know...because I'm being random...it also sets up a ncie discussion topic of believing in things you can't see. Lets start off simple...wind...I can't see it, but I can see the effects of it and I can see what happens to certain objects after a rather windy day. For something that can't be seen it's pretty powerful... so how does someone create something they can't see??? Well I don't think people can accurately do that... to be a little more specific...God...can't see him, but I can see the effects of him at work and I can see when he has been working in the world around me (like all the time since he never stops doing stuff in our lives). I don't really know where to go with all this... So I think I'll just go back to my hot chocolate...although before I go...I keep having issues with the word chocolate in that when I type it...I keep forgetting the send 'o' in it and it comes out as choclate...for some reason I have been typing the word chocolate often enough to notice it as a recurring thing. Mmmm,, I could go some chocolate right now..... 4月11日 Easter...Now for those of you who are confused as to what a bunny has to do with the real meaning of Easter, I'm with you. Not to mention a bilby. Yet these are just a few of the shapes in which you can find chocolate this time of year.
Ok so after a 5 day break I am back to continue with my little ramblings which will keep this space alive!!!
Easter is great and this year I'm going to be so easterish it'll drive people crazy...well actually not, but it might!!! See first of all there is the Good Friday service at church (changed to a 9:30 service from 8am) and then there will egg exchanges...I have made up little easter egg packs for people although I did buy some big ones for 6 people.
Then there is the rest of Friday...I might be helping with puppet filming or I could be spending it with Steve. Then on Saturday I'm going to the easter show where steve and I have plans to see woodchopping and the big main arena events, as well as get free food samples in the Woolworths pavillion, get show bags and go on rides...It should be great and I'd prefer if it wasn't raining or too cold :D
Sunday is Easter Day service (:P to you Steve) and I have no idea what my family has planned, but I'm sure I'll see Steve a it then too...maybe even have an easter lunch with friends (I know Jono is up that weekend). Monday will be partially kids club stuff (I'll probably be doing mostly preparing crafts so the kids have ideas to work off) then some stuff in the mid to late afternoon and probably bible study ( I'm not sure if it'll be on but I don't mind either way). Tuesday will be running through each session for kids club and then Wed-Fri from 8:30-2 (give or take) I'll be helping to run Kids Club. Hopefully I'll get to see Steve a fair amount as he's not joining in, but it means he'll be doing uni work and other things which is nice. On the Saturday is touch footy day then I'm off to the ANZAC Tattoo with the Bell's and Sunday is Easter Sunday so it will be all relaxing. Monday back at work then Tuesday off for ANZAC day.
Well it's now the 11th...so I'll just wrap this up already.
Happy Easter Y'all!!! 4月3日 Due to popular demand and pleading...Ok so it would have taken a long discussion between Jen and I to decide whether we killed our baby or not, but given the recent comments and flourishing of posts on here, the more compelling, Jen and Sarah's Randomness space will live to show another blog entry.
Hmm, what's new??? Well Jen, Steve and I went down to Fitzroy Falls on Saturday. We left just after 10 and arrived around 12 at Jono's house where we had a yummy lunch of fresh bread rolls, pasta salad, zuchini slice (so tasty I could have eaten the whole thing) and orange juice. It was much colder than I had expected it to be, but I borrowed one of Jean's jumpers and was able to help keep Jen and Steve warm too. The play went for just over 2 hours I guess and I'd never seen the stage production, but I have seen it on TV. As I watched more of it, I remembered the version from TV. The singing was pretty good and some of the songs I've sung before in Choir when I was in primary school which was exciting.
After the performance, Jono took us back stage and we had a tour lead by Vince and it was fun. We then decided to hang around a bit longer so we headed to the RSL to get coffee/hot chocolate/cake with the rest of the cast and crew. We chatted for about an hour I guess before we decided to leave since we had a 2 hour trip ahead of us.
On the way home we listened to Beauty and the Beast soundtrack and then some Michael Buble and the trip seemed to take less time which was great. I fell asleep for a little bit (and Steve was singing along to Michael Buble into my ear which was really cute) but 'woke up' just as we got off the M2.
Sunday I had hockey in the evening and after umpiring I was a bit tired and I hadn't stretched up before hand so I was a bit sore during my game and in the second half, every time I ran my calves would cramp a bit which sucked. I also almost hit a lady in the head. The ball went straight past her right eye and she said she felt the wind as it rushed past. It surely would have broken something if it made contact, so I'm really glad it didn't.
Overall I'm feeling pretty good considering I've not played since September.
Tonight Liz's Syncronised skating team has a demonstration on, so I'm going to it before bible study. I'm also taking some video footage. I know they can do this programme well so I really hope they don't get performance anxiety...I've got butterflies just thinking about it.
Well here is where I leave. Although I don't have much work to do, I still need to do it.
I hope you are all enjoying the new sunlight...I know I am.
3月29日 I thought about this todayHi all, I thought about this space just a moment ago as I was browsing my new hobby - the human nature forum. You see, I have this obsession... with Human Nature... They are a good band - have amazing voices when it comes to acapella singing and well, who doesn't love their hilarious (but somewhat cute) motown dance moves. One just can't resist. So they have now taken the nunber one spot above Michael Bublé as my favourite band/singer. And for those of you who know me well will know of my recent obsession with a show called "Dancing with the Stars". This is a good show - similar to Human Nature in status as it has Toby and Grant on it. I just entered the DTWS competition in the hope to get to the final.. and the question was "who is your favourite celebrity dancer" (in 10 words or less). So I said "Grant storms onto the dance floor with lightening moves"... clever eh, given he's the weather man!! (ok sad I know), but I just felt the need to have some fun thinking about my latest hobby and obsession :-) Jen 3月27日 To Die or Not To DieI so thought I had added something in here more recently than this, but the complaints would suggest otherwise...I do believe this space might be on it's death bed. I know it's sad, but it's all got to do with the circle of life. We eat the antelope, but when we die, we go into the grass and the antelope eat the grass.... I mean...sometimes things just don't work out and there is nothing you can do about it!
However since this is a joint space by the person formerly known as Jen - she is now Gen as I ate her when she came to have lunch with me, and we will decided together.
It would be a sad time if this space was to pass onto another world, but we could be happy knowing it was going to a better place, spaces heaven. A place that looks a bit like the matrix code.
Anyway, enough rambling, my head hurts enough as it is. I really don't actually want to go home, but I am actually getting sicker...usually when you are sick you wake up feeling terrible (which is why most people who take a day off with a cold etc, will feel better as the day goes on, but dodgy the next morning), then you start feeling better as you wake up and feed your body the nutrients it needs to help fight off the virus etc that you have caught...then as you get tired towards the end of the day you start feeling dodgy again. Well for me, this morning I woke up feeling ok, fairly ordinary and a bit worse than the day before, but it wasn't until I got on the stupid air conditioned train that me (without any tissues) started to get the sniffles. As it gor worse I got desperate and I decided to use a wet wipe. Not my first choice, but it was still ahead of using my sleeve (EWWWW). This would have been at Roseville. By North Sydney I had the sniffles again. So after some peppermint tea, a glass of water 3 tissues and a few phone calls, my head hurts, my throat is scratchy and my nose feels huge. I'm going to get some cold and flu tablets and then see how I go.
Well I've been offered the chance to get some magic medicine now rather than waiting. So I bid you all adue and well, I'll let you know if I die...oh and if this space will be terminated. I know it sounds cold, but it's the truth and you can't fight the truth. I hope you are all well. 2月7日 UpdateWell i'm just here to update one of the lists and I thought I'd add a bit of an entry along with it...this poor neglected space....
I know if I was this space and I was being ignored so badly I would have moved out or thrown a tantrum by now... but luckily there are all those people out there who read and are disappointed to find the same old posts just dying to be updated...
Well anyway...how is stuff???
I managed to tear a muscle at hockey trials and well I had to buy a cushion and have time off work and all this other stuff which was nice but sucky too...
Oh and I'm hopefully going to the cricket on Sunday with Steve as there are still lots of seats even though Australia is playing and it's a final... ummm
This morning I bit my cheek while eating my toast and today I have bitten it 3 more times and just now I bit my tongue which really hurts!!!
Oh it's also very cold today...it's windy and cold outside as north Sydney is this huge silly wind tunnel. I don't mind the summer wind (The summer wind, came blowin’ in - from across the sea. It lingered there, so warm and fair - to walk with me. All summer long, we sang a song - and strolled on golden sand. Two sweethearts, and the summer wind.) as it is warm, but cold wind is yuck!!! It just finds it's way into your clothes and makes you cold!!!
Bec, Jen and Steve visited me for lunch today and i only knew that Steve was coming so it was a really nice surprise!!!
Oh and I'm sorry all but I ate Jen...she has been replaced by a vengeful Gen so beware and don't get on her bad side!!!
